Position/Title: Sales Account Manager

Exempt/Non-Exempt: Exempt

General Purpose: This is a mid-level Sales Account Manager position. Primary responsibilities will include managing the commercial process, including prospecting new sales, inquiries, quotes and entering orders. The role is responsible for growing accounts by pro-actively selling, prospecting new clients, initiating email/calling campaigns while managing existing customers. A successful candidate will have knowledge of processes and be able to effectively understand and describe Fibertech products and services, handle various types of prospect questions and develop long term relationships. This position requires significant teamwork with sales and operations. This position sells services and products using technical, organizational, and customer knowledge to influence customers why Fibertech has the best solutions for their needed products and services.

Job Duties: (duties include, but are not limited to, the following)

·Follow a disciplined process to prospect new clients using web, email and phone campaigns.

· Promptly prepare quotes, contracts, and responses to potential customers.

· Maintain all quote documentation with accurate pricing and configurations.

· Maintain all sales information in system tools and CRM applications.

· Develops and delivers sales presentations in a professional and effective manner

· Maintain up-to-date awareness of company activities, industry trends and government regulations

· Determines market strategies and goals for each product and service

· Coordinates customer due dates with operations

· Researches and develops lists of potential customers, uses proven tools to manage leads.

· Conducts market research to forecast trends for business planning

· Evaluates product and service viability with respect to their customers’ needs

· Promptly follows up on sales leads and conducts cold calls with potential customers

· Ability to partner with marketing, other partners to establish a strong social media presence and e-commerce approach to marketing and selling products.

· Other duties as assigned

Qualification Requirements:

· Must be 18 yrs. of age

· Minimum of 2 years of college or a technical or vocational school and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

· Must have 1-2 years sales experience

· Must be available to work a flexible schedule

· Excellent oral/written communication skills

· Well-developed presentation skills

· Excellent customer relations skills

· Proficient in MS Office software, especially MS Excel

· Ability to read and interpret documents

· Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations

· Ability to interpret technical instructions

· Must be able to work with minimum amount of supervision in high energy situations

· Availability to travel at least 10% of the time

Physical Demands:

· Must be able to handle products, lifting as much as 50 pounds occasionally

· Must have the ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time, up to 10 hours

· Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, climb stairs and reach with hands and arms

· Vision requirements include ability to perform moderate computer work, distance vision and ability to focus.
